Knowledge of and proficiency in professional video, audio and/or editing and post-production procedures, techniques, software and standards.
Familiar with video strategies and creative needs specific to social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Knowledgeable regarding best practices, asset specifications, restrictions, and content guidelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Professional experience with still photography is a plus.
Professional experience with drone/UAV videography and technology is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (journalism, filmmaking, film production, visual arts, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
3 years of professional videography, filmmaking and editing experience (e.g., at an agency or production company; in-house with a corporation, non-profit organization or higher education institution; as part of a newsroom or broadcast media, etc.).
Experience operating and maintaining professional-level video, lighting & audio equipment in the field and in studio environments.
Editing experience using professional editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period of time.
Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or exposure to chemicals.
Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, laboratory environments, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Flexibility in schedule, including occasional availability on evenings and weekends.
Occasional travel using a personal vehicle, including loading, transport and unloading of equipment, will be required.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Evenings and weekends as required.
