Employment Status: Full-time, temporary “exempt” position with the possibility of becoming probationary / permanent.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Anticipated Hiring Salary: $4,372
The functions include but are not limited to:
Manage and maintain the overall quality and execution of educational videos from project beginning to completion.
Clearly communicate creative concepts to Instructional Designers, faculty and department staff.
Research new and continually evolving media technologies, styles and standards.
Demonstrate and maintain extensive understanding of all aspects of video production.
Follow requirements per section 508 accessible media.
The equivalent to a BA/BS degree from a four year college or university in a job related field.
Ability to train and manage media student assistants.
A minimum of four years of related professional experience with directing, filming and editing.
Experience with DSLR Workflow as well as Adobe Photoshop and Premier software.
Ability to manage priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate ideas, and provide creative direction as needed.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse campus community.
Ability to control cameras with a high degree of operational and technical knowledge.
Understanding of the electronic and mechanical processes cameras use to film.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow directions through diagrams, manuals or instruction.
Experience with multi-camera filming is highly preferred.
Must provide portfolio of completed digital projects.
