Social Media Manager

Salary: £27,000

Benefits:  33 days holiday, pension scheme (up to 5%), death in service benefit, free parking, private health insurance, opportunities for progression

Hours: Full time

Location: Bolton based company with opportunity for some overseas travel

Our client provides creative solutions for cleaner, safer, more beautiful spaces and delivers an outstanding customer experience every step of the way. Due to continued success they are currently recruiting for a Social Media Manager, this is a new role with the UK operation which will work closely with colleagues in Austria and Poland.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to really make their mark on how our client shapes their online presence now and in the future. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a new challenge, can apply create flare and take a dynamic approach to social media development.

Main Duties

•Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
•Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Instagram
•Plan content and delivery and use tools like Hootsuite and Asana to manage multiple social media channels
•Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote our organisation and brand
•Write engaging blog posts and articles
•Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively
•Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms

Key Skills and Attributes

•A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
•Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
•Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
•Ideally speaks a second language French or German preferable
•Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
•Data analysis skills and statistical skills to draw actionable insights
•Online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers
