Collaborate with Legacy Ventures team to determine design preferences, purpose and function of spaces, branding, budget, and other factors, which affect the planning hospitality and F&B environments.
Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and streamline approvals.
Manage quality and consistency of design outcomes.
Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team, provide direction to external branding, art and graphic consultants.
Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client/operators, Project Manager, and consultants.
Assist in putting together budget outlines. Continually monitor budget throughout the course of the project.
Oversee Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) processes, including selection, procurement and installation.
Build solid relationships with Brand Representatives and oversee approval process, ensuring brand standards compliance.
Confirm product specifications are suitable for proposed application and meet budget and schedule (lead times), recommend value engineering (VE) options.
Lead the design and procurement for smaller projects (under $1M). Provide direct coordination with vendors and/or subcontractors for the fabrication and installation of millwork, fixtures, accessories, draperies, materials and colors, artwork, furniture and related items.
Put together brand submittal documents (e.g. specifications, mood boards, floor plans, renderings, etc.)
Liaison between ownership, operations, external design consultants and brands.
Minimum 5 years of broad design experience with emphasis on hospitality projects.
4-year degree from an accredited interior design or architecture program.
Excellent design skills and strong knowledge of design process; concepting, space planning, construction documentation, construction administration, furniture and specialty lighting specification.
Experience working with hospitality clients, including Designers, Brands, AEC teams, and developers.
Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Facility with both manual and technology-based design tools- proficiency with CAD and Sketchup.
Ability to work on multiple projects with varying timelines.
Experience with upscale hospitality projects including hotels and restaurants in mixed-use, urban setting.
Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
