Job Description

The Executive Creative Director, Photography works closely with the Managing Director in developing branding and visual direction for various brands in fast paced photo studio. While providing creative expertise, this position is responsible for conceptualization, direction as well as execution of content lifestyle and product photography for print, video, digital design and web applications.

Responsible for overall creative excellence, including problem solving, creative strategy and quality of client deliverables.
Develops concepts and evolves branding for projects following client guidelines and projects
Produces photography directional guides (Decks) for client approval and shares final with crew members to ensure team alignment on execution of deliverables.
Partners effectively with all departments to ensure delivery of on-time, high-quality deliverables that address client challenges. Also partnering with Stylists on props for location shoots as well as identifying studio sets while meeting budgets and schedule parameters.
Maintains close interaction with producers in developing shoot schedule and any communication related to project.
Art directs in studio and/or location on assigned projects.
Strives for consistently producing relevant, best in-class photography
Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior creative management position leading primarily design and photography teams in a retail, photo art direction environment. Preferred reliability in either/or Food, Home Décor, Beauty, Hard lines.
Experience with retail catalog programs a plus
Must have an updated portfolio / work samples
Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects
Ability to communicate direction clearly to design and production teams
Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
Willingness to work flexible hours as client needs dictate.
Computer skills InDesign, Keynote a must.
Big box retailer experience and knowledge of the retail digital experience is a plus
